All of our instructors are well-versed in the art of burlesque, with a wide array of skills, experience, and knowledge to offer our students. We offer educational opportunities from Burlesque Hall of Fame titleholders, internationally touring performers, as well as some of Chicago’s brightest cabaret luminaries.
Camille Leon is the headmistress of the Chicago Academy of Burlesque. A member of the Chicago burlesque scene since 2013, she has performed with many troupes throughout the Midwest. She was a company member at The Kiss Kiss Cabaret, as well as featured performer with Original Tease, Jeezy’s Juke Joint, and the Vertical Sideshow. She headlined the Wisconsin Burlesque Festival in 2017, and performed in the 2016 Movers and Shakers Showcase at the Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas. She is the owner of Hello Titties pasties, where she makes bespoke burlesque pasties and tassels, as well as other costume accessories. She is incredibly excited to share her knowledge and exper-tease with students new and old!

Bazuka Joe is one third of The Stage Door Johnnies from Chicago, named Burlesque Hall of Fame "Best Group 2011". Bazuka headlines and tours throughout the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Europe and has been listed in the Top 50 Burlesque Performers in the world for 7 years consecutively. Trained in contemporary, classical, and jazz dance, theater, and vault staff he is a seasoned teacher and instructor with more than fifteen years of experience teaching and directing at a professional level. Before entering the world of burlesque and cabaret, Bazuka served as Artistic Director for Open House Dance Company and choreographed/performed in the iconic indie film "Were the World Mine".
The WERQshop: Fierce Cabaret Choreography
Willy LaQueue is a dashing dandy and sultry starlet twinkling in the Windy City, where he’s the Headmister of the Chicago Academy of Burlesque. He's been performing as a hip hop dancer, teacher, and choreographer for 2 decades, venturing into burlesque in 2012, and he has twirled on stages and bar floors across the US, Canada, and Europe. Willy has opened for musicians Lizzo and Sandra Bernhard, been featured in burlesque festivals across the country, and performed at the historic birthplace of the modern LGBTQ rights movement, the Stonewall Inn. He's a flamboyant fop who shimmies in the spaces between drag, burlesque, and dance theatre. He's light in his loafers, a dear friend of Dorothy, and the Limpest Wrist in Burlesque!
Tila Von Twirl
Origami Crane of Sequins and Pain, Tila Von Twirl is one third of The Amazing Bendable Posable Dolls of Doom, an engineered, acrobatic and aerial burlesque group. She is also a core member of Fringe Factor Dance and one half of the power duo, Lando Blaze and Narcissa.
A life long dancer, Tila has always had a passion for everything that moves. After dancing professionally around the midwest, she received her BFA at Columbia College Chicago. After a yoga certification and a few years of teaching and self-producing work in the modern dance world, she found deep love and healing for and in burlesque. She started with the Dolls of Doom in December 2008 on the stairs of the Congress Theater and since the Dolls have had the honor of being inducted into the Burlesque Hall of Fame twice with the titles of Best Variety 2010 and Most Comedic 2011 as well as traveling nationally and internationally.
As a trained dancer and choreographer, she has danced for “Tomorrow” featuring Fleetwood Mac and "Sing" featuring Elton John as well as set choreography for Lando Blaze and Narcissa that got the honor of coining the term “stupidlesque” from New York’s Johnny Porkpie during BHoF's Movers and Shakers show. Tila has taught classes for Studio L’amour, Windy City Burlesque Fest, School of Shimmy, Detroit School of Burlesque and Fishnet follies to name of few.

Midnite Martini is Burlesque Hall of Fame's Reigning Queen of Burlesque, Miss Exotic World 2014 and has been named one of Burlesque's Top 50 Figures by 21st Century Burlesque multiple times. She is known as a trailblazer and innovator for her combination of her circus and dance training with the art of striptease
Midnite has titillated audiences across the world from Las Vegas casinos to the Atlantis Resort Bahamas to New York nightclubs and Montreal theatres. Midnite has been interviewed and featured in many books and documentaries including: Burlesque: the True Art of Seduction, The League of Exotic Strippers, Bachelor Pad Magazine, Pin Curl Magazine, Pao Network’s documentary “Burlesque”, and Asia Xpress Newspaper.
Miss Martini is a pilates and group fitness trainer and dance instructor. She believes in empowering every person to move no matter what age, shape, or experience! Midnite is also determined to spread the good word of the Burlesque around the world and continuing important conversations about body image, self worth, adoptees and performers of color.
Rock n Roll Burlesque
This Chicago heart breaker is ready to kick your ass while you can kiss hers! Lilly Rascal brings her energetic rock and roll burlesque to the international stage and to a dance studio near you. With over 10 years of performance experience in modern dance, jazz, and pointe ballet, along with stage acting, film and voice over work, she strives to create distinctive burlesque that is compelling and powerful. As an educator, Lilly infuses the knowledge gleaned from her body of work into her classes, offered as weekly sessions, traveling workshops, bachelorette parties and private lessons. After cutting her teeth in the musical theater world, Lilly began her burlesque career in 2011, in Minneapolis, Minnesota and now resides in the Windy City, co-producing Parlor Tricks Burlesque when she is not touring and teaching. She is the original rascal without a cause, it's Lilly Rascal!

Stretch & Strength
Dahlia Fatale is a traveling contortionist, burlesque performer and instructor. Dahlia's performances combine the smoothness of classical dance training with the bizarre and super human styling of contortion. She has been featured at prestigious events across the US, Canada, and the UK, and is always plotting her next destination. As an instructor, Dahlia brings together a unique perspective built on years of dance training, as well as circus training and anatomy education (yes, she's touched muscles from the inside too!), she believes that movement is for all humans, and really wants to dance with you!
